| Level of support: | Information about the service and luggage van (the Technical Service) - The Driver of the back-up van, however, is not just a chauffeur & luggage supplier! The escort van carries your luggage from hotel to hotel and brings some spare-bikes too. For even more safety along the way is the driver of the van equipped with mobile (cell-) phones. The daily biking routes cross again and again the way of the service and luggage van. The van follows the cyclists without coming in sight or disturbing. It has the tools, spare parts and a travel pharmacy, additional bike bags on board. The driver help repair the failures with the rented bikes - he is ready to help for you! The bus/van transfers of cyclists inserted occasionally in the trips make it possible to overcome roads with heavy traffic or exhausting short-cuts and make it possible a transport to a next city of the tour. During the transfers the Driver of the van carries your bicycles for free in the special bike-transporting trailer. | |

“This tour is not a simple "Wellness Offer" as much as an opportunity to enjoy this spas and thermal waters in the context of a cycling holiday. Every night you will stay where you can bathe or swim in the curative waters. There is a saying in Hungary that all you have to do is push a stick into the ground to reach the thermal water rich in minerals and trace elements. Thanks to this natural phenomenon, and with more than 400 hot springs and 200 thermal spas, Hungary is a world leader in spa vacationing. All Hungarian spas have chlorine-free mineral pools of varying temperatures of 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit (28-38 Celsius). Different temperature basins suitable for bathing and swimming. Cycle and enjoy the healthy waters of Hungary!”

Day 1 – ARRIVAL IN BUDAPEST (Hungary) – Arrival to the Hotel of Budapest in your organisation. Overnight stay in our contractual hotel in Budapest. (its location is favourable to the 1st-cycling-day-program) Day 2 – DOBA-PUSZTA / BEREK-SPA – After breakfast the driver/guide of the back-up van will welcome you at 8:45 a.m. in the same “partnership basis” hotel. (Meeting point: hotel reception) Route briefing and luggage loading. The transfer van/bus takes you collectively near Szolnok (at the River Tisza). Handing over the bikes and information material. A beautiful stretch (nature reserve) on the dike lies ahead. River crossing by cable ferry boat. Through calm villages until we reach Kunhegyes. Short van/bus transfer to the hotel. Fun in the thermal spa/swimming pool. /Hotel for 2 nights/
(approx. 43 km / 27 miles cycling) Day 3 – THE LAKE TISZA AND TISZAÖRVÉNY – Time for visit in Kunhegyes, afterwards you cycle in the direction Lake Tisza, cultural and natural landscape of World Heritage. Beyond the barrage is the second largest lake in the country. Again a beautiful, "nature-full" cycling stage. Today's destination is the boat-harbour Tiszaörvény. In this “Puszta” region gush effective thermal waters.
(approx. 48 km / 30 miles cycling) Day 4 – BIRD RESERVE IN THE NATIONAL PARK – Cycling towards the strictly protected bird sanctuary of Lake Tisza. You can explore by boat (guided tour extra to book) the wild and romantic water world. The Tisza embankment is all around well paved, so it is easily "rideable". Arrival in the region of the riding and herdsman life. In horse stud farm will bred the fabulous Nonius-breed. Time for bathing, swimming and relaxing.
(approx. 40 km / 25 miles cycling) Day 5 – WILDLIFE PARK HORTOBÁGY – Today is possible to book and to do a tour with a “Puszta-Taxi” (=covered horse carriage). Take a varied journey to see the horses, gray cattle, spiral-horned sheep and the typical draw well of this region. The largest continuous natural grassland of Central and Western Europe is ideal for birds and unique plants. Continuing towards to the environment of Hajduszoboszló (Nádudvar), a popular place for small game hunters and mainly for open-air spa and thermal-bath fans. Pleasant bath adventure here – if you want it!
(approx. 38 km / 24 miles cycling) Day 6 – BICYCLING, RELAXING, THEN BUDAPEST – Visit in Hajdúszoboszló, where is located the largest open-air thermal spa of Hungary with 17 pools, swimming- wave- spring- and thermal pools. Today opportunity to swim again, maybe for a walking. Transport together to the River Tisza embankment and continuation the easy day tours. Now follows the last kilometrers/miles of your bicycle tour on the calm dyke. Finally bathing-fun-option in Tiszaújváros with their well-cared, pleasant & local open-air + partially covered spa. Slowly, you say goodbye to "Haiduk" region and to the Puszta. The van/bus takes you together to Budapest in the late afternoon.
(approx. 32 km / 20 miles cycling) Day 7 – Individual departure after breakfast or exploring Budapest’s, if any additional night/s. (possible extra booking, see prices below).
