Terms of Hire
Upon rental of the bicycles and the accessories an official ID with photo has to be presented.
Upon request/order of more than 2 bicycles or delivery to a hotel a prepayment of at least 50% of the rental fee has to be made to our bank account in Germany or Hungary. Upon receiving the bicycles another EUR 100, - per bicycle has to be deposited.
Starting an individual bike tour and riding the bicycle is made at one’s own risk. Evident damages on the bicycles have to be reported upon taking possession of the bicycles.
Borrower is entirely liable (even in case of passing the bicycle on to others) for damages due to violent impacts or improper operation (even over the value of the deposit given upon borrowing), though not for causes of wear and tear.
Unfortunately bicycles cannot be insured for theft. It is recommended to make a report to the police by the borrower in case of theft since this way the borrower will only be charged the participation (retained amount) of the value of the deposit (EUR 100, -).
The minimal rental-time is 5 hours. For rental times over 5 hours, invoicing is done per started days.
In case of school classes and groups the guardian is fully responsible and liable for the all rented equipment. By groups with more than 10 participants a skilled tour guide (as a representative of our company) will cycle with the group and has to be paid for during the whole rental time.
The borrower is responsible to follow the Hungarian Traffic Regulation along the tour.
We recommend to lock the bicycles when not used during the day and to always put them to a closed place for the nighttime.
