“Along the Danube”, the dream of many cyclists cannot be found in our program. We have only a few bike paths along the Danube, however, there are a lot of traffic. Our “Classical Tour“ wilfully does not lead along the Danube, but through the interior of the country, on safe and quiet roads through pretty landscapes and beautiful nature, undiscovered by mass-tourism. The nature in the Lake Balaton area provides a number of superlatives. Popular Highlights of this bike tour (among others): Cycling on the west side of Lake Neusiedl, on the west and south coast of Lake Balaton, and “Budapest by Night” - a coach journey through the beautifully illuminated city.
The "cream" on your "Hungarian cyclists cakes" are a tour around natural thermal lake Hévíz (Spa garden) and/or (extra booking) a 4-hour city tour in Budapest by bike.

Day 3 – LAKE FERTÖ AND SOPRON – Our first destination is Parndorf then we cycle on along shore of Lake Neusiedl, through Rust ("town of the storks") and Mörbisch. Sopron, today‘s destination, is the only Hungarian town where almost the entire city centre has survived from the middle ages. In October 1820 entered the nine-year-old Franz Liszt with the performance of a piano concerto for the first time publicly at a concert in Sopron town.
(Stage: approx. 40 miles / 64 km)
Day 4 – HAYDN AND THE ESZTERHÁZY DYNASTY – Today, we enjoy the beautiful view on the Fertö (Neusiedl) Lake and the nice scenery of the region. A landscape of vastness, which influenced the horizon, views and the genius mind of Haydn. Visit in the magnificent baroque palace of the prince family of Eszterházy in Fertöd (Eszterháza). Joseph Haydn had been working here for almost 30 years as a court composer and conductor.
(Stage: approx. 35 miles / 56 km)
Day 5 – NATURE AND THERMAL LAKE – Cycling through small, dreamy villages with their quaint atmosphere. Stork nests decorate the roofs and the masts. We reach the famous Spa resort Hévíz with Europe's largest natural thermal lake and then the Lake Balaton.
(Stage: approx. 39 miles / 62 km)
Day 6 – THE MAGIC OF LAKE BALATON, THEN BUDAPEST – We leave the town of Keszthely at the Lake Balaton. Cycling first on the western- and then on the southern side of the lake. We continue cycling along the flat southern lakeside. Along the way there are swimming option and lake panorama. We reach the middle of southern shore of the Lake Balaton quickly.
